If you have been injured at work, you are entitled to workers' compensation that will cover part of your lost wages. The amount you receive for your wages depends on a few factors. If your injury resulted in temporary total disability, you are entitled to 70 percent of your average weekly wage.
At some point, the doctor may send you back to work on light duty. If it's full-time, your temporary disability benefits will end. However, if it's part-time, you will receive temporary partial disability, which is 70 percent of the difference between the average weekly wage from before your injury and the part-time wage you are earning now.
